Well, It's only money right [Wink]

Decided a few weeks ago to buy a set of Absolute Speed 5.3 stg. 2.5 heads. They are cnc ported, then hand ported and polished. Also they will come with 2.04 intake valves, 978 comp double springs, and ti retainers. They will give me 11.0:1 compression.

Now for the more part. After talking to Jay at Absolute, I am sending him my TB and intake for porting. He will port the tb out to 78 mm and port match the intake to it. I'm also getting a stg. 2 port job on the intake and he will port the intake runners on intake to match the heads. Now for the neat part. He will use my intake to flow the heads to get real numbers. All in all, I think I am matching parts pretty well. [Big Grin]

What do you think?

I think that with those heads, the TR224 cam, and the TTS headers you're going to be making some serious power!

The setup sounds excellent, matche4d and balanced upgrades are a good thing!

Thanks guys.

I am really unsure what the numbers will be. I was able to hit 390 with the cam. I would guess another 30-40 after the install. I still havn't touched the computer yet, and tuning may be the big difference after the install as far as numbers go. But tuning will have to wait awhile due to funds [Frown] . It may only be money, but some have alot, and like me, some don't.

I hope to hit 430 in Atlanta at the dyno during the f-body gathering during memorial day. Then the goal after tuning would be close to 450 rwhp. That will be close. Thats alot of ponys at the flywheel. What is that? Something over the 500 mark. [Eek!] Unreal for a car that runs on pump gas, has cruise, ac, and gets 26 mpg. And you can enjoy all of it wit the top down [Wink]
