I guess the hot cam should bring that up then.
Our '99 is around 317 and the '98 doesn't even break 300 (but it's had a rough life). (The exact #'s are at the shop on the computer.)

the hotcam has been fine for me as a daily driver. it does cause more fuel usage, but other than that.. ok.
I think the stock manifolds are what is holding my power back. I was hoping to get 325 or so without the long tubes... all i have ever been going for is the rumble, which it has, no other late model camaro sounds like mine around here, so i get lots of "thumbs up" from folks around here.
i could probably use some dyno tuning as well. that is somthing that is probably holding me back too.. The tuning i have now is from my predator, and its difficult for them to write a "great" tune, since they are not here witht he car..

Like Dan mentioned, you probably need the ECM tweaked to see the benefits of that cam. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Im wondering them. I will have about the same mods as you by the weekend. I had mine dynoed last May and got 323.3 rwhp. At the time I had the free air mod, whisper lid and Loud Mouth. I will have headers, y-pipe and high-flo cats installed Saturday so I am wondering what kind of numbers I will see.
