Well, I dont know if the thread title is accurate.... it isnt why the cars are presently dead. We know the decision to kill the fcar was made around 1996..... but it does help uncloud alot of the persitant rumors regarding a possible return.

Actually it got GM Security involved (thought there was an internal leak...which is was NOT) and some serious heat was applied to some un-involved persons at GM , so guionM deleted it to keep from getting people punished.
It was the right thing to do.
Scott has asked us (over there) to DROP IT (discussing GM's relationship with Canada) as to not further agititate a very tense situation.
Scott needs for us to focus on the future and send in our Camaro stuff...apparently he needs to reinforce the use of the Camaro name, as the previous situation seems to have some thinking life would be easier if they dropped the name
