Anyone have the names and phone numbers for the host hotels, ...and possibly any alternatives. I know the general Carlisle area, but wanted to book a room (Friday/Saturday night) where most are staying. If anyone has rooms booked you are not going to use, please email kevink7@hotmail.com
...since I'm judging at this show, you would think I'd have this all taken care of by now
Thanks for any info
Kevin

...OK, I just noticed there are 'TWO' threads here

Kevin Dyas Inn is where we all stayed last year and where most are staying this year again its the Host hotel. The phone # is 717-258-4147 tell them your with American Camaro Asso. to get the discount . I see they made some changes there added a lounge and Bar . If there booked up , the Super 8 is across the street # 717-245-9898 . I have my res already let me know who alls going maybe we can all go together agin this year. Try these numbers soon as I know the rooms are going fast on that side of town and its easier than on the other side , were the trafic really sucks. Chuck

Kevin, No rooms available through ACA at the Days Inn. They do have regular room rates for Thursday/Friday but NOT for Saturday. I gonna call Karl tonight and see if there is a secret handshake code thingy that he may have set for a few more rooms. I'll keep you posted.

got my invite in the mail today. Nice flyer but they don't tell you where it's at!
I assume it's in P.A. They list the hotels to call, but you say they are booked already, and I just received the flyer today.

ACA reports that all set aside rooms are booked. The Camaros at Carlisle web site is posting other hotels near the area.
Anyone hear anything on the Hampton Inn?
I think I might roll the dice and wait for a cancellation at the Day's Inn. Right now I'm pretty discouraged. I don't think I want to go if we're off at some hotel where no one else is staying.
Any thoughts?

Glenn, I have to go to this show since I judge. I will give Hampton Inn a call tomorrow to (hopefully) book a room. Like you, I'll try to see (and HOPE) something becomes available at one of the host hotels.
...Hey Ralph, ...you're from the Carlisle area (AND a member of the ACA), ...what's the scoop on this???? ...give it up : )
PS: Anybody heard from Chris and Jen? (and what about JOEY-RED?, what's up Joey? you going or what?
Jeromy, ...thanks for the link to Hampton Inn.

Kevin, I am not from the Carlisle area. I live about 60 miles from there. The first time I heard the Days Inn was booked was from Glenn. You guys must remember there aren't that many motels in Carlisle,so they get booked early. I always book my room before I register for a show. I booked my room for the Camaro Suprfest in Ann Arbor already. Sorry about that guys.

The Days Inn is full. The Super 8 across the street has 30 rooms as of yesterday 3/9/04, 717-245-9898. You must mention "The American Camaro Association" or they will tell you the motel is full. Don't forget Drag Racing on Friday at the show.
Kevin, check your email, I emailed you this morning.
