I finally found and bought the SS Convertible that I've been looking for. I bought it on E-Bay from a fellow in the Dallas area...and I think I got a pretty good deal as the auction closed 3.6K below the Kelley Blue Book value.
It's a red 2001 with black interior and top. A4, dual-dual, chrome wheels, 335hp package, etc. A few more miles than I'd have liked (33K) but I've gotten over that.
I take delivery of it on Monday, just in time for spring!
Teri, how do I go about registering a 2nd SS with the Association? Should I just send in another form?

Randy glad you found one and 33,000 miles is low for a 2001 really as my 2001 SS vert has over 60,000 on it and 2 thirds of those miles are to shows alone all over the country since I got it. Know you will love the car.

Subsequent SS's in the same household are $20. Send in another Membership Application (linked from the Join pic in my signature) with a check and I'll get your packet going.
Don't forget, there is a forum for Convertibles here on Chirpthird!

Just got back with the new addition. Something about two SS's in the driveway makes the house look better than it ever has! The car needs some TLC though. It's in good shape but needs a good cleaning and some Zaino.
I did discover one thing that I think is going to be problem. Driving with the top down is likely to blow the remaining hair off the top of my head. Oh well!
I'll try to get some pictures posted tomorrow.

Congrats Randy. So maybe now I can talk Erin into letting me trade in her car for another SS. She can always drive my work car back and forth to work. (94 Cosica with 100k miles)
