Waiting for Stealth to restock the SLP lid........BUT something just struck me (stop that CY) ...............
If the aftermarket lids get rid of the ribs in the molding why cant one cut out the ribs and smooth the excess down to achieve the same effect .

I did that to the OEM lid. It was still a rough surface. It did help, but not as much as the smooth MTI lid ( i chose clear )I put on after cutting the OEM down.
Warning, the dremel turns that plastic into little hot smoking sticky balls of plastic - i had little burns all over my face since you gotta get so close to do it well. (had goggles on, of course)

It not only gets rid of the ribs, but also the 2 large air collectors on the rear of the lid
