are going on tomorrow. Leaving the loudmouth on for now, so it may be just a little bit louder. [Roll Eyes]

Once I can retune it and get to the dyno, I'll know how much of an increase I get from them.

Then it will be time to plan the heads and cam install. [Big Grin]

Hawkeye, got your message, post here if you can. I got in late from the "attemp" at getting everything in. We are going to try and finish up today if the weather cooperates.

I have to get a tap and tap out the O2 bungs on the Y-pipe to be able to get the O2 sensors in. The polishing material is apparently in the threads and the sensors won't go in.

I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to be able to get the I-pipe portion of the loudmouth connected to the reducer pipe.

I couldn't believe we had to remove the oil filter, oil drain plug, unbolt the tranny, drop it down a few inches and shove it over as far as we could and still almost had to grind the lip off the K member to be able to get the drivers side header in. We had a bunch of experienced header install folks there and they couldn't believe how much trouble it was to get it in and have to tap the O2 bungs and figure out now how to get the LM hooked up still.

Hopefully, I will be able to get it finished today and able to drive it home.

Wish me luck. All I can say it better show it on the dyno that it was worth it.

Kev, if you get a chance - call my cell.

(519-984-4876)

I'm searching a piece of pipe this morning to
connect my Borla Int. pipe to the reducer.

I did not move the tranny - although I thought
of it! The key was in the way it was lifted.

I had a stipped bolt hole in the block! That was
a fun fix. Then last night I broke a bolt on
a clamp tightening it up. The front CAT bolt
no less. [Mad]

No problem with the 02 sensors, other than when
I took one out it was stripped. So, I bought
a new one.

Are you putting the tunnel brace back on? I'm
buying longer bolts for that this morning and
some spacers.

Having fun yet? I hope the dyno shows!

I finished mine last and then left the country for 7 days. It is certainly louder with the new cats/y-pipe and stock muffler. I can't say I can really tell a SOTP difference though. Hopefully off to the dyno next week for the data.

Got mine all done yesterday. Had to modify the reducer and loudmouth pipes alot to make it fit together. The dyno and track should give me what the gains are.

Definitely louder [Eek!] and I kept the loudmouth on. It has a great deep tone to it, but probably too loud for the boys in blue. If I get pulled over for it, I guess I'll have to go with a muffler cat-back and an electric cutout. [Big Grin]

Mine is on with the exception of a 6" custom pipe I'll need in order to mate the reducer up with my Borla system. I'll be getting that fabbed tomorrow. All in all I was fairly impressed with the fit. The drivers side s-pipe to cat to y-pipe alignment was a little tricky but once I got that right I was able to work the passenger side stuff into place.

How is everybody's ground clearance looking on the driver's side at the cat?

Man, I can't wait to fire the car up tomorrow!

The drivers side cat is the low point of the
system, but not much lower than the SFCs. I have
a small leak at the S pipe clamp. My plan is
to have that joint welded. I also want to have
a new piece made to join the borla. I made up
a joint with a 3" to 3" adapter piece. That fit
into the Intermediate Borla pipe I cut down to
to 1 and 1/2" from the joint. So now there are
4 clamps in about and 18" span. I want that all
in one piece welded in. It sounds much louder
now than before. It's still up on ramps because
I have to re fit the tunnel brace with some
spacers and longer bolts.

Instead of using spacers, I'm probably going to order a BMR driveshaft safety loop. It drops down to accomodate custom y-pipes.

I thought about 1 - but I have a BMR Torque Arm,
don't know if it will work. I could check with
BMR.

I'm also likely to go with the BMR, but for now I just left the stock one off. Maybe spacers should come with the header kit since the tunnel brace will NOT go on with the PPC system without spacers. Now if I can find some kind of spacers that will look OK and not have to just put alot of washers together.
