I would say its humor... those guys (our soilders) see some messed up stuff. The way I look at it its like my firefighter neighbor... He tells me stories of all kind of messed up people from acidents to OD's etc. and he just luaghs about it... I think if you took everything too seriously you would go nuts so its a form of dealing with stress... my 2 cents.

I don't see any amusement in it at all. Using a depleted situation in an attempt to promote some lame humor. I would have avoided doing something like that.
