Ver Nice, The Monte Carlo SS is a very nice car with very nice features, its comfortable and "looks" nicely built too.

Now time for an SLP Loudmouth catback, SLP headers, SLP underdrive pulley.....hehehe

Is that the only reason for trading the Trailblazer? I thought Kathy loved that vehicle. Anything I should know??

I have seen those Monte Carlos before in the free automotive magazines. They look pretty decent. There are a few Chevy dealer here in Michigan that have them for sale. [Smile]

My wife love's her 01'Monte SS...we looked (I) at an 04'Monte SS with the S/C..very nice, but the wife didn't want to make the move yet. It's about the only car i know of that will sit 4, six foot adults comfortably. I didn't like the same color as the car script for Monte carlo next to the red SS logo, so I changed ours to match the red SS...

BTW... the 05' is supposed to have a V8...FWD tho.

Lets hope it does....That car NEEDS to be rear wheel drive!! And even if it comes with a 280hp 4.8liter V8 from a Silverado that would be cool...

I have always said..."If the Monte SS had an LS1/M6 RWD, they would sell like Hot-Cakes"
They are very nice cars...just need to be up graded. [Big Grin]

I am hoping very much so and I agree about the 4.8 liter but heck why not go with the 5.7. [Big Grin]

"IF" it comes with a V8 in FWD it will be a smaller displacment... you can't put a larger displacment V8 in without wicked torque steer.... [Wink]

Maybe... maybe not... personally I don't want a rear drive montie.... because if there is one the chances of a seeing a camaro are slim... chevy won't get 2 versions of the RWD platform.... my two cents...
