Ah yes...driving by the dealer tonight, and my friend spots my SS by the road....I quickly do a U-Turn and go pull off to visit my baby...ah yes...such a beaut! It was rainy and the Zaino was doing a good job. Wow, I'm gonna miss her on the warm days....I did what I had to do...If I get a good enough job this summer after I graduate in June, maybe...just maybe.....

I can understand how you feel Dan and can see just how much you really loved your SS. But as you said if you get a new job this summer then you never know as an SS could be right around the corner bud. Hang in there it will happen. Posts: 2841 | From: Westland, MI | Registered: Apr 2003

Looks good. I wish I could buy it, cause then my 97 could become my race car. I am SOOO glad I am not going home to PA. I drive right past Sutliff Chevrolet.

Kind of bitter sweet reunion I would guess. I have only seen one of my cars (out of more than 70 cars)I have owned after I sold it. It was my 1978 Daytona Yellow Z28 with the black custom cloth interior,t-tops and fully loaded. I used to see it for around the next year or so.The new owner did not take great care of it as I did.My son spots his old 1997 30th Anniversary Z28 every now and then and says it is usually mud covered and trashed. Not many times one can see a vehicle again. You have the chance to enjoy it alittle longer

Matt, looks like the engine was running and might be exhaust fumes. It wasnt photshopped, hehe.
Greg, you're sure right, defintiely bitter sweet, but, nice to see her once again. But yeah, I'm not sorry I traded it in.
They have a 2002 Z28 with 1000 miles on it going for $22K!!! I'm sure my SS will go first though...ah well!!

id rather the SS even with however many miles it has. LS1 z28s dont do it for me. the hood is too plain. i like the lt1 Zs cuz even teh v6 had the twin scoops in the hood.

I think part of the reason its a lot easier to deal with is that I dont care as much for cars sicne my London trip...no! Sericously! I would rather ride the Tube than drive! ITs such a hassle to get in your car and drive yourself...sooo much easier over there, or any major city.
