I know I am beating a "Dead horse", but we were told on this board that the "2002 SLP breakdown numbers would be released in 2 weeks", about 6 months ago! Just looking to have another keep sake for the car!

True many of us have been waiting. I was promised info from my car dealership a couple of years ago so I would have it for my records but the guy was just a chump. [Mad]

If anyone can do it I think SLP can and will wait until I hear differently. [Roll Eyes]

one 'mo time. [Wink]

Most importantly, SLP has the data, its not lost. They are well aware of the interest for it. Rest assured, we are passing on the requests. I have been told the SSOA and FAOA will be the first public release points for them.

When that will happen? I do not know.

I dont mind it being asked occasionally. It's important enough, so long as the thread doesnt get out of hand.

Members, keep in mind, no one from SLP is seeing this.

If the info were in a database somewhere at SLP or GM, then even a database novice could produce the numbers being requested within a matter of minutes. I sure don't understand why SLP or GM would allow this much time to pass without providing the numbers given the interest in the SS owner community.

IMO, the 2002 numbers will never come.

If it were only that simple.... databases can have mistakes. Numbers between GM and SLP can be different.

These deviations have to be found and corrected.

The last I heard (read) was a post over at FAOA that SLP has sent the numbers over to GM and that GM is now checking to compare. This was a few weeks ago however... IMHO I think the numbers will come out this year.

I would not be holding my breath while waiting on the reconciliation.

I wish the 2002 owners good luck in getting the numbers. Personally, I'm not optimistic about getting the 2002 numbers, but I hope you can get them soon.
