Anyone know of a good speed shop in Michigan I can get the SS tuned at?
After putting on my headers last year, the car is running a bit rich. I'd like to get the car tuned. I called Detroit Speedworks today, they quoted between $500 and $550.
Anyone know of any other shops that I can get quotes from for comparison?
Thanks

That sounds about right. I paid $500 last year when I had mine tuned up. I gained 13 rwhp with changing the f/a ratio and the timing a little. Retunes with the same person is now $100.

Livernois has been around since I can remember(grew up in the area). Saw on their site that they teamed up with Detroit Speedworks awhile back. Have never heard a bad word about them.

I was approached at the Novi Motorama from the owner of Livernois Motorsports. I used to work there years ago when they did prototype Ford work. They have an in house chassis and engine dyno and just bought a portable chassis dyno. Next year we will probably have them out at Camaro Superfest. The owner of Livernois Motorsports wants to sponsor the Eastern Michigan Camaro Club. They mentioned we could get deals on ECM programming and dyno runs. They also bought out what was Stu Evans Motorsports and Holbrook Motorsports that builds race engines so we will have a company that can do machine work at our finger tips. They are located in Dearborn Heights,Mi. Sorry I don't have their phone # here at work. Some of you may have heard of Danny Millen. He is the owner's son and has one of the fastest Mustangs in the country...6.80's at over 200 mph. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002
