I know this is pretty minor but it's bugging the heck out of me.
When I got in the car yesterday to go home after work I noticed that the drivers side sun visor was low. I'm not sure how else to describe it but low and loose. (That sounds REALLLLY bad) The passeger side is still snug along the top of the window but the drivers side is hanging about 2 inches lower. It's annoying because I can see the edge of it in my rearview mirror.
Anyone else have this happen or know what I can do to fix it?

Where the sun visor mounting pivot goes into the visor is a plastic or nylon bushing that keep it the set position. That bushing may need to be replaced.Older cars usually had a screw that could be tightened that actually put more pressure on the bushing.

Ebony visors are 10410035 for RH and 10410036 for LH. Problem is, those part numbers aren't listed on gmpartsdirect.com as good numbers anymore and the only other parts listed are the screws to mount them. The new visor includes the mounting bracket too. Not sure if they're separable or not. Call the dealer and see if they've been superceded. The Canadian versions are still available, and would probably be the same price, which lists for $66 and change EACH, although gmpartsdirect.com's price is $38 and change each plus shipping.
The good thing is that both convertibles and hardtops use the same part number. The bad thing is that they are probably under a different part number if a different company other than the original supplier is making them for GM now.

looks like the gasket or washer mentioned above is being replaced but I'm not sure.
the visor itself is in great shape, it's just droopy.
That fix will not fix the visor from falling down by its own weight, that will fix one that pivots way to easily from side to side.

it's only droopy in the regular, put away position. it's fine when I turn to the side or fold down. Once I get back form NYC next week i'll try to take a pic and see if I can figure out how to host and post it.
