Steve wanted a set of headers that flowed and fit better than the ones mentioned in the article, so he made new ones in a welding class last month:
They just came back from getting Jet Hot coated:

Yes, you are supposed to be able to find the Car Craft on newstands, however,I have yet to do so. Thanks for all the kind words!
Nope, not driving it to BG this year, as we took it last year. If you want to drive it, you will have to come to Oregon We are driving the 98 SLP car this year to BG. See ya there
So are you going to start making headers for the masses now? You did a great job on them. Posts: 942 | From: Santa Barbara and Ventura, CA | Registered: Feb 2000

Congratulations, Steve! Since you're in a magazine, maybe you're the guy I need to get advice on for getting the Ram Jet in my truck running right.
By-the-way, did I ever tell you I received the brackets? Did you get the payment? (Just came to mind ...)

No you didnt tell me, but glad you did! Were they as good of quality as you had hoped?? Just want to make sure.
Fire away on the questions for the ramjet. I may be able to help.
Yeah! The brackets worked out GREAT! I haven't bolted them in because they seem to sit in there fine, and if we ever DO need the extra room, I can just slide them out. THANKS!
As far as the Ram Jet goes, I'll send you a P.M. instead of take up room on the board.
