All true in fact the 2001 numbers show 16,357 V6's and only 12,652 V8's. But it wasn't the V6's, straight 6's, or 4's that made Camaro's famous. It was the 302ci. Z28 Trans Am racers, the 350 & 396 SS's and the COPO 427's. Plus of course, one of the best looking car ever produced.
