The Eastern Michigan Camaro Club is having our 1st Milan Dragway Racing Night April 8th from 6-9pm. We are doing something a bit different this year and if you plan on attending you need to contact Matt to get your name on a reservation only list. mregalia@glgt.com

I failed to mention that this event is not just for EMCC members. But after the 1st event we should have a good number of people (non members included) that would always be on that "reservation only "list. The events got so huge last year that some of the members that worked the gate did not have a chance to run their car, so we want a smaller crowd and with less cars racing, gives more runs per car and will cost the club less to rent the track.
Brian, you Mark,Rock and Taner are very Welcome to attend these events again. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Now that would be cool to see you and your Z there! What is wrong with your trans? You don't have many miles on that car. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

It`s slipping bad going into 2nd gear under high excelleration. It will not go into 2nd at all if you got the petal the metal. Normal driving is fine. I`m getting a hi/po rebuild from Jay Velthoven soon.

Cool! I did not know that Jay knew how to rebuild a trans. Good thing is that you know who will be working on it and it will be cheaper than a dealer or trans shop. It is strange with your low mileage that there is a trans problem. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Jay has two freshly rebuilt 4L60Es in his garage. Along with a couple of torque converters.

Does Jay have the equipment to rebuild a torque convertor? You may want to raise the stall speed on your torque convertor a bit while the trans is out. How much does he charge to rebuild a torque convertor? Ryan wants a higher stall speed in his truck.

Ok, if he rebuilt them, Ryan would probably get his stall speed changed. It requires some special machines to rebuild a torque convertor.Well get that trans done so you can come out with your fellow club members! Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002
