There are a few of you who met my girlfriend. She was with me at the EMCC Christmas Party at the Jacksons home.Well I`m sorry to say she is no longer in my life. She decided to break up with me for reasons unknown to me. I asked her why would you want to leave me and she told me she did not know why. She didn`t have a answer. I thought that was a lie.I treated her like gold. We never argued. I never even looked at another woman.She sent me a few text messages saying how much she misses me and doesn`t like the idea of us being apart through my cell phone then I ask why did you break up with me then.She had no answer. Her mom was sick and she made a turn for the worse. She has Cancer and she has been going throught radiation treatment. My ex whole family was very nice to me and I want to see her mom and give her flowers and thank her for being so good to me but when I call my ex to see if it would be ok to see her mom she won`t answer her phone.She is dumping me off for reasons I do not have a clue of.I just wish she would talk to me.

If you care about her mom, go see her - you don't need permission.
Move on, if there was no real reason, you'll see her again, if there was, you'll have a head start.

I am sorry to hear about your breakup but trying to figure out the reasons as to why when she can't give any will only prolong your pain. I know what you are going through as my ex pulled the same thing on me 3 times and the last being exactly that, the last. Try keeping yourself busy as this will take your mind off it and help ease the pain as time goes by. This will be the biggest mistake she has made so don't be surprised if she doesn't start calling you again in the future.
As for her mother if you two were close then I see know reason why you can't visit her. Again my condolences on the breakup.

Hard to figure out other people, especially in relationships. A very good friend of mine married to his childhood sweetheart 35 yrs. He treated her like gold, she never had to work and he always stayed true to her. Well he comes home from work and finds a note that she is leaving him for good, wants a divorce and hopes he has a good life. She even explained to him that he was not the problem. Even if he knew why it still wouldn't change the life changes he is going through. I hope everything works out for you.

Sorry to hear of the break-up. Nothing I or anyone can say that will take away the pain. It's obvious you care very much for this girl, ...and the hard part is not having any answers and not knowing why. I learned a good lesson quite a few years ago when I lost my Mom in an auto accident, ...never ask WHY?. It is a question we all want an answer to, yet an answer will only leave us with more questions. Life is full of surprises (and heartbreaks), ...the old saying, "If it were meant to be..." holds true. It's not an easy time, but as best you can, keep busy, hang with your friends you'll get through this... As for her mom, ...like others have said, if you want to see her, send flowers, whatever, you don't need anyones permission.

The bottom line is that she has needs (whatever they are) that are not being met in this relationship, so she left. The sad and unfortunate thing for YOU is that she obviously did not communicate that to you or give you a chance to understand what it is that she wants.
Communication is soooo very important in relationships, and it's one of the hardest things to do. From what you've said, this girl seems to have a significant problem communicating her needs and desires.....especially since this breakup seemed to have come out of left field.
If at some point you get back together, I would suggest some couples counseling sessions to help her learn some techniques for opening up to you and making her wishes known.
Go see her mom. That's so sweet of you to want to see her.

Here is the latest happening this morning. I called her stepfather to find out what hospital her mother is in since my ex would not return my phone calls. While I was out washing my truck he called and said it would be great if a came to visit her. That would lift her spirits greatly. So I stopped by a local flower shop to buy her some flowers. After I bought them my ex calls crying telling me her mom is dying and I cannot see her and to return the flowers and we are only going to have family members to visit her. That really hurt me! Now I cannot thank her in person.She was really straight foward and to the point with her statment. Almost to the point of hating me altogether. I told her that I miss her and that I was going to be in her corner always.I`m just a phone call away. She started crying then I let her go. On the up side of my wonderful morning I just recieved my new STB from D.GOETZ. Hopefully it works. Thanks for your support all of you are just great. MUCH LOVE!

Steve take a deep breath and just sit back for awhile. If you think about this the girl is going through something very hard to do and maybe she right now hates everything and everybody cause no one can do anything to make it better. Just wait awhile and see what comes latter. Keep busy and wait awhile and give her the room and time to sort out her feelings after her mom is gone. Take care and hope to see you soon buddy.

YOu said you never argued. That could be it. You won't really have a complete relationship until you can weather some difficulties. Maybe she needs some confrontation. I had the same thing happen, was engaged to a perfect woman, never argued and she broke up with me for no reason and took the flaky way out by breaking up via email. Just don't act insecure with her and you might win her back. If not, move on my friend, there are plenty of them out there.

Steve Cindy and I are sorry to hear of her mothers passing as you know Cindy lost her mom the same way 2 years ago and I lost my dad 2 months after that. It will be hard for her for awhile so you just give her some room and just be there when she needs someone. I am a fair judge of people and the first time Cindy and I meet you back in 2000 we knew at the start what kind of person you were and nothing over the years has changed that. Again sorry for her lose and for what you are going through as well

Really sorry to hear about her mom passed away. Like Hawkeye said, be yourself..the right person will come along. I've been through it all. It was/is a hard time for her right now. I know this may not be of any consolation to you but my experiences personally and among friends has typically been this: If she breaks up with you for no apparent reason, she has a new boyfriend.
Go get yourself a new girlfriend and move on.

Your friend had a lot laid on her with her Mom's illness and then passing and she may be having trouble dealing with it. Give her time and space and maybe she will call you back into her life after her grieving period. For now, go on with your life. There may be another "Angel" waiting around the corner. My ex-wife walked out for another guy after 29 years of a good marriage and trust me, I have found out there are a lot more good women out there. You may not want to get involved for now, but when you least expect it...."Whoop, there it is"! Hang in there and do not let it drag you down. you have a lot of support right here on this board and I am sure anyone will be glad to talk with you.
