I have to give a big THANK YOU to Deanne at Afterthoughts.

I ordered a Stull Billet Grill about 3 weeks ago with plans to have in time for the Lake Castaic Picnic.

Well the grills were temporarily out of stock and they were not sure if they would be re-stocked in time.

They went wayyyy out of their way for me and had a grill dropped shipped from the manufacturer directly to my house and it arrived in time.

You do NOT see customer service like that too often these days. They went above and beyond to make me one happy customer and I cannot thank them enough for such great service.

Next time, when I am looking for any type of aftermarket products, Afterthoughts Auto will be the first place I look.

Thanks again Afterthoughts. [Cool]

Yup, Deanne is excellent.

When we drove down to Dallas to pick up the Zed last June, we called her to see if we could get a Windstop. Initially she said yes, then called back to give us the name and number of a fellow that had bought one but no longer needed as he had traded the car for a Corvette. She gave up a sale, but had 2 happy customers.

The ultimate bonus was that the fellow also had the SLP OE lid and a K&N filter that I was able to buy at a significant discount. [Smile]

Deanne is great! Not only does she give an ongoing discount to SSOA members, she was able to help us out by distributing our die-cast cars for us. She's always willing to try new products and find a special request. She's the best.

OK now that you've twisted me into ordering that nice Billet grill..."Can't wait"! What SS emblem is used??? I believe it was a 69 SS grill emblem but was it from an RS grill, because I think the non RS grill had a bigger slant?

Neither. It's a '69 Chevelle emblem.

Oh, and yes, ATA and Deanne are great!

Deanne has helped me/us through a lot of projects. If you have never worked with
Afterthoughts, give them a try. From answering
e-mails to contacting me to confirm an order
(black vinyl hood app ordered for my black SS, just wanted to make sure I didn't place the order wrong)...Deanne just rocks!

I concur as well. Even though I just bought some minor things a while back when I had my SS, they were exceelent in getting my stuff out to me, and even called me to double check everything I ordered, etc after I sent the order in!

2 Thumbs UP!!
