Yo Seth!
I think Bonte used some 3M Finesse to take care of some particularly nasty swirl marks on his hood - maybe he'll chime in with the details....
And if you have a dust problem, you aren't using enough Z6....

I used the 3M Finesse-It product in an attempt to cure my hood of swirls.
I had about 30 coats of Z5 on the hood and it was not doing the trick. I read a lot on ls1tech about using the Finesse It over Zaino, basically since the 3M is abrasive it will strip the existing Zaino down. YOu can then polish the surface with the 3m, and then seal the paint with whatever wax/polish you like. I chose to return to Zaino, and start building Z5 layers again on top of the surface.
I will say the paint looks better than it did without the 3M polish, it is probably as good as I will be able to get it.
My procedure was: Wash car Multiple 3M applications (I did it by hand, so it was back breaking work) until the surface was acceptable. Wash car again Begin NewZ5-ZFX layering.
I will say the 3M was PERFECT for removing light surface scratches and swirls. It did not get everything out of the hood, but made it many times better.
