Hawkeye's friend Mark took the stripes off his 35th LE too. I personally like the stripes and would leave them on.

I was considering doing the same thing when I got mine, but changed my mind real fast. If that car is SS# 241 it was one of the first LE's made.

I bet Scott meant it's 35th car #241, not SS #241.

Chris, I bet you are correct since this Camaro was the 10,900 car built after my SS and mine was built May 23rd 2001.

Yup. It's LE # 241.

I hope the buyer knows how much 35th stripes cost to replace. They're not cheap and a few of the pieces are difficult to locate.

Hmmm... looks a lot like my car. I was going to do that to a 35th LE if I got one... but I wasn't willing to pay over sticker on one. Funny after I saw them more the strips grew on me. So instead I got a red SS put LE wheels on and the black hood scoop decal...

When friends of ours ordered stripes, a couple of the pieces took awhile to get. They were supposedly on backorder.

Yeah, what he said.
I thought about taking my stripes off when I first got mine but am sooooo glad I didn't now. they really set her apart from other SS's.
