I'm going to get rid of that wind noise!

Anyone had success getting rid of the wind noise coming from the side mirror areas? I can hear it in three '02 Camaros I've been in lately.

Sitting in the car, if I stick my finger between the mirror and the window, I can turn the whistle into a gush by pushing the window seal back a bit more, so I know that's where it is coming from. The seal just isn't that good on either side of the car near the mirror area.

When the door is opened, I can see how the mirror has pushed that area in on the sealing.

New stripping for the body where the window meets it??

I had that problem on my 2000. The dealer should be able to fix that for you. They fixed mine.

Sounds like the door glass needs to be aligned.

The rubber triangle at the leading edge of our '98 is curled in and leaks air & water if you don't guide the glass into it when raised.

It's a spendy little piece, but pretty important, so it has to be replaced before the rains hit again.
