Just a question to make sure i'm right. If there is no SLP order content sticker but there is on the door sticker from the factory a WU8 option code that means there were no SLP options added correct?

correct, ...but I've heard of cars coming through (that had SLP options, ...ie. Dual-Dual) and there was no sticker. ...it might even be true that the stickers were not used until after 2000. (this I'm not sure of)

If it had SLP opt's I know from 98 on it had the content sticker on the right door. 96 and 97 I'm not sure as they were not done in house by GM until 98

I know one member of our club who ordered his SS in base form, and then after the car was preferenced, called Umberto to add the dual-dual. The car arrived with the dual-dual - and no SLP door sticker. And as Tom has pointed out, the SLP stickers were put on SLP-equipped cars from the get-go in '96.

My 99 SS did not have SLP sticker on driver or passanger door. However, I called SLP with the Vin# before I bought the car and they sent me the build sheet.
Hope this helps

Y2Y was the designation for the car to be eligible for additional SLP content in '98+ cars, but some were given content anyway.....there are always a few that slip through the cracks.
