Wow. Thats all I can say. Fired it up and it rumbled like a muscle car should when idling. Granted, mine needs to be tuned yet. Tries to stall in reverse, but forward gears were fine. Getting it tuned a week from Thursday at Hardcore Motorsports in Flint (thanks for telling me Brian, and thanks for telling Brian, JeffY).
Also added this spring was a SLP LS6 Intake Manifold, ASP Underdrive pully, and RKSports carbon fiber "Camaro" door sills. Will post pics once it's all said and done.

Here are the specs: Comp Cams 226S, 226/228 duration @ .050", .570"/.571" lift with 1.7 rockers, 111 lsa. I have a M6 and I wanted a very streetable cam.
In addition to what I listed above, I put a SLP Loudmouth exhaust the first year I had it. Put long tubed headers on last summer with off road pipes (though I wish I did not do SLP's in retrospect). Did the usual stuff: lid, CAI, and MAF when I did the loudmouth.
I can't wait to see what kind of HP I'm putting down.

Would be nice to see what I could expect with just a cam. The rest of the set up is almost the same.

111LSA??? and it runs without tuning! I bet that beats rumbles...... can you sense the jealousy.

Here is the deal I got on the cam package from Combinaton Motorsports:
Comp Cams Custom Ground Camshaft EX Components 616 Valve Springs EX Components 123 Titianium Retainers EX Components One Piece Chromoly Pushrods $599.97
I actually got a great deal on the other stuff too, just watched for deals, etc on ls1tech.com.
The install of the cam, pully, intake, and door sills cost me $500. I feel confident I could of done everything but the cam myself. What I paid for all of it is barely more than what a performance shop quoted me just to do the cam. One of my friends (co worker) did the install, he is a ultra gear head and a Camaro lover (owns 4 first gens, and 1 2nd gen), he is the only one who works on my car besides me.
Hardcore Performance is charging me the same as Livernois was going to for the dyno tune, plus selling me a Diablo Predator for about half price as part of the package.
Really did not have any issues with the car coming home, reverse is very tricky at this point, but I had no problems with the forward gears at lights etc. You can tell it needs a tune though for sure. It's going to sit in the garage until the 13th when I go to Flint. I'll probably get it out every few days between now and then and heat it up. Honestly, I had a very hard time containing myself on the way home. I'm giddy at the thought of letting loose on that bad boy
Oh2xSSivLS1, you should swing out to Green Acres Plaza in Saginaw on Friday's after work this summer, I'll be there as often as I can.

Ditto
I still can't decide to go heads and cam or just bolt on a blower. The blower will make more HP and will be easier to install, but the heads and cam will make it stronger and sound like a beast too
The budget will likely decide, I'm already about 5 months behind schedule .... I'll be happy either way

Yeah, I'll bring the SS down for a meeting sometime. I'm not keen on taking the SS down 75 now with all the construction below Flint , but the Dixie should get me down fine.

One side hangs low. Low enough that you probably can't lower the car. I scraped it once taking the car out of the pole barn this spring. Plus, comparable headers seem to be priced a bit lower. I have not read of any kind of comparison tests of headers as far as which brand yields the best performance.
