Cost is $30 to race and you can make 40-50 passes if you want to. Spectators are free and there should even be a concession stand open to get some food. Come on out for a evening of fun.

That would be real neat! Hopefully Frank will also come on out and run some 12 second passes in his SS vert. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

I probably will. I am having a wierd problem though. When I am moving and shift out of first in to second, it makes a clunking noise. It will do it again between second and third. It only seems to do it in these gears and it is not a constant thing. Any ideas? I know that is not what this thread is about, but just wondering if you guys had any ideas as to what it could be.

The next time you bring the SS over, take me for a ride so I can hear it. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Matt is going to call the track around 2:00pm this afternoon. He will make the decision then if we call the event off.

Latest weather report ... Matt called the dragstrip and was told that it was raining there at this time. The event has been cancelled for this month. It would not be Michigan if it did not rain for the last 5 or 6 days in a row.
Remember that each month EMCC rents Milan Dragway and out track rental is always on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
