I've been having a problem with my cd changer since I bought my car. CDs keep getting jammed in the changer so I have to go to the back of the car, jiggle the magazine a little until it comes out and then the cd and holder come out. It isn't any particular one. It happens to any or all of them at any given time. After I re-install everything it works for a while (sometimes an hour, sometimes a day) before getting jammed again.

It's so frustrating I'm thinking of replacing the in-dash stereo with the stock am/fm/cd and discarding the changer.

Has anyone had this problem? Has anyone replaced their stereo with the am/fm/cd?

Thanks

We put an OEM CD unit up front to use in conjunction with the changer.

You might consider contacting Radios and More to see if your unit can be repaired.
