They broke the main supply line between the bay area (Richmond Benicia) refineries and Reno. Most of Nothern Nevada gas comes through that pipeline. They got it fixed, but it will be days until the supply catches up. Many gas stations only have 91 octane left if any gas and it's selling for $2.35-$2.60/gallon. Many gas stations are closed or operating on limited hours.

Bay area prices include local bay area taxes, such as the diverse partner act and the sensitive community act . My bro lives in Martinez right over the hill from the refineries, but his gas prices are always higher than ours because we have less local taxes.
Right now it's supply and demand...I demand they fix thier supply

The weird thing is that the rest of the country will pay higher prices for that. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

That's not the actual name, but my brother works for the city of San Fran...you wouldn't beleive the stuff they have to do to support gay and lesbian owned businesses and stuff like that.
Now I'm not trying to dictate what people do in their own bedrooms, but taxpayers money shouldn't get funneled their way at the expense of non-gays (I almost said normal poeple, but that would be politically incorrect now wouldn't it!)

All of our special interest groups will live to regret the day the made regulations so bad that new refineries were not built and they kept us from drilling and finding our own supply of oil and gas. Also whats added to gas from corn takes alot on energy from oil and other things to make what blends with gas. Keep on letting these people dictate regulations and see the gas lines and what you pay down the road from now

Know what you mean Cindy paid $1.80 for regular yesterday for her daily driver and I think she said premium was around $2.00. I have not put any in the SS this week as a tank will run it a week
