What do you put on the metal strip on
the body thats in between the 2 ttops
between the top of the windsheild and the
roof band. Mine is sun faded and everything
I put on it looks prismy-you know purple/yellow
haze
Same goes for the triangular section that
holds the sidemirrors and the cooresponding
triangle on the b pilar

Is there anything that came restore the look
of these areas. They aren't bad but I want perfect.
That's not too much to ask is it.

The T-Top separator is just painted so if it doesn't look good it probably needs to be re-painted. Not to sure if that's what you asked about but if not can you describe it better. The triangle on the b-pillar is impossible to get looking perfect. I had a new one put on and it's no better than the other one. I just polish it with Zaino. Same for the mirror areas....mine look fine.

You might want to try a product called "Safe Cut" distributed by the Wax Shop, this stuff is amazing, it removes that hazy crap from the paint. I was having the same problem with my triangular pieces also until I tried it and to my surprise it worked great. It also works on your plastic on your gage cluster, it will remove fine scratches from the plastic. Pep Boy's used to sell it but I think they discontinued it, try www.thewaxshop.com

Once you get it cleaned up, use whatever wax product you use on your car on it. My preference is Zaino, what else. [Wink]

To keep that metal band looking new on my 1997 and 1999 Z28's, I just kept them waxed.

Windshild wipers? Never thought about that. Going to have to give that a try.
