I know alot of you may not remember me, but I spent alot of time on the SLP board under the same name. I didnt post much, but I know alot of the same people are here. Just wanted to drop in and see if anything had changed around here. I was hoping to find some info on a Skyline Cruise, and much to my surprise there is one in less than a month!! I would love to attend, I'll have to check on my summer schedule as far as classes go. I got rid of the 96 because I couldnt seem to work through all the problems, but I found an awesome deal on a silver 98 SS so all is good again. Good to see alot of familiar names from the old board still around here after all this time.

Yup, I remember you. Glad you found your way back here. How do you like the '98 - I bet you find the Silver a hell of a lot easier to keep looking nice than the Black was.

Black looks good when its clean, silver looks good all the time. Good to see ya still around, Jim Mac (with that same avatar always).

Matt, No, sometimes I wish I would have taken the money I used towards the 98 to do the conversion and some engine work, but Im happy now so I guess its all good. Still got the IROC I assume?
Doug, Im looking into making the trip up to Skyline but its gonna depend on school. Im hoping to make it work. I'll let ya know when I find out something concrete.
Friedchicken, Greg, et al...thanks for the warm welcome. Its good to be back.

Ain't that the truth? I have a black 1987 Monte Carlo SS - got it when it was new, and keeping that thing clean was a job all it's own. 20 seconds after you wash it it starts to look dirty again.

The Boobster kind of disappeared after the SLP Board was brought down. We have had reports that he still checks in from time to time, but very rarely. Also, we understand he's still trying to figure out what the orange thingies are under his car, and that he has had the car up to 68 mph once.

Welcome! I remember you from the SLP board also. Yup, that's what happened. It was kinda strange that he took off like that, just leaving a note under Mikes door. I saw that he was online a few days ago on another board.
