Good morning.
Brian , we got the keys to the house last night and the move is on starting today. I will go over the house tonight to hopefully get the garage floor epoxy coated and the pole barn cleaned before we move all of the stuff in. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Sun is shining brightly now and I seem to have caught a cold during our winter relapse. Oh well, slow weekend ahead anyway and the ground will be too wet to do any yard work anyway.
Y'all have a great day, eh! Posts: 4222 | From: Winnipeg MB CA | Registered: Feb 2000

With American superheroes like Superman, Batman and Spiderman stealing all the Hollywood glory, it is easy to forget some of the lesser-known but equally brave comic book heroes fighting crime up in Canada. The website 'Guardians of the North' pays well-deserved tribute to a cadre of Canadian-born superheroes that for decades have upheld the patriotic and nationalistic values of our neighbors to the North.
You've probably never heard of Johnny Canuck, Northguard or Capitaine Kebec, nevertheless you will enjoy reading about the history and adventures of these 'Defenders of the Great North'. The site takes an interesting look into the history of comic books (they evolved out of the popular political cartoons of the 19th century), as well as profiling the nine major Canadian comic heroes.

I'm going to try to attend the Super Chevy Show at the Cayuga dragstrip (Toronto Motorsport Park) one day this weekend. The dragstrip is celebrating its 50th anniversary - drags, show & shine, & an auto flea market. It's the first major outdoor auto event here of the year. I'll post some pic's.

Afternoon. Late start for me. I had a job interview this morning at Amgen, one of the largest biotechnology companies in the world. Keeping my fingers crossed.
