Well, it was a long day yesterday, but worth it. Started out in the morning arriving at 1 Bad LS1 Racing/Hardcore Motorsports in Flint at 8:00 A.M. in the morning. Everyone there was nice and friendly. They had some cool cars sitting in the showroom (will post pics later). One of my buddies who lives in Flint came and picked me up and I left the SS to them. Went back at 4:00 to pick it up and go over the results.

Here are my mods that relate to power: SLP lid, MAF, smooth bellows, CAI, LS6 Intake Manifold, Loudmouth Exhaust, and Long Tubed headers with off road pipes. ASP Underdrive crank pulley. Here is the cam I went with: Comp Cams cam 226/228 duration, .570"/.571", 111lsa. Did pushrods, springs, and retainers too obviously. Stock heads and rockers.

With that cam, idle is not awesome, but it sounds better then stock. The car does not like to go below 500 RPM on idle either.

It was raining when I left, so I did not get a chance to get on it a bit. I'm going to put another 100 miles on it, change the oil, then give it a real test. Overall, I'm very happy with how it went.

....so we went on the expressway yesterday. Took it up to near 6000 once, but even cutting out at 5500 it pulls and pulls and pulls. This is by far the best power mod I have done. I'm wondering what else I can do (natual aspiration) to push it to 400 rwhp aside from heads.
