Looks like its going to be a great day with sunshine and warm weather here. Expected high of 78 but the rain comes back tonight and tomorrow. Don't mind it raining during the week so the weekend can be filled with sun.
Have a good one. Posts: 2841 | From: Westland, MI | Registered: Apr 2003

Good morning all. Yesterday was very nice here also, spent part of the day at a carnival with my wife and daughter, the other part of the day in the garage getting the old motor ready to come out.
Have a great day everyone.

Back from my weekend escapade to see all the lighthouses of cape cod . It was great for the FFCC and the American Lighthouse Foundation, we had over 300 cars attend and 500+ people... Fun part was off roading it to the race point lighthouse wayyy off the beaten path near Provincetown... great thing I have learned, the that the keepers cabin is for rent (up to a week) for $140... it is really, really private there .. given cape cod usually demands 200+ plus per night that is an awesome deal .. I saw 8 lighthouses, and the entire cape cod ..
back to work ...feels like I was gone a 3-4 days and it was only the weekend

What a weekend. I had planned on attending the Super Chevy Show but rain on Saturday and household chores on Sunday resulted in the SS not coming out of the garage all weekend.

Morning all! Had to come back to work to relax. Helped out obSSd with their newly purchased house remodeling projects all weekend. Man, am I tired/sore. It was worth it to help out a friend though. It should be very nice when they finally get to move into the place in a few weeks.

I helped Aimee (Mrs. OBSSD) with a little painting, but Steve on attic access and stair detail, and the other guys remodeling the kitchen are the big stars of the weekend. Steve's weekend nickname is "Steve da Saws-all". We'll all keep plugging through until they're moved in. It's exciting to see them get into their first house and the changes taking place to make it their home.
