Good Morning everyone and Happy Friday. A very stormy night and massive flooding going on. Power is out in a few cities and seems to be a mess out there.
Hope you all have a good day.

We had it here as well. Took awhile to get my computer to boot up this a.m. The power outage last night didn't help for sure!
Hope everyone has a safe enjoyable long weekend.
Remember, play hard, be safe.

Good morning! As I got off I-94 at Middlebelt this morning, there was massive flooding at the underpass. Had to get back on the hiway and get off at Ecorse. Did not want to take a chance and drive thru the construction at Telegraph. Ecorse looked good for about 10 seconds. The underpass for I-94 had a dozen cars with water to their roof.I was on the exit ramp to Ecorse and the ramp is 20' higher than the road and I had to drive thru 8" of water. Tried Beech Daly, Pellum, and several other roads that go under I-94 to no avail. I ended up downriver in Allen Park just to cross I-94. I heard that we got 3" of rain at 12:30am. Going to be a tough drive for many! Today I close on my old and new houses!

Have a good one. Painted all day yesterday in the garage. I think the color is "hugger orange". Went to home depot and they had 4 gallons of OPS paint, Behr. Well two gallons were very pale orange and one was dark orange and a medium orange. I mixed all four together. Hey this was 25 dollars a gallon paint, which I got for 5 dollars a gallon. It is alot brighter now and once I get my "car stuff" on the walls it should look good.

Morning. Off to the hospital for more tests today, then I'm free and clear till the middle of July. Fasting for this one. I'm so hungry I'd eat my own hand, if I didn't have a stick shift that is.
Have a great weekend.

Finally Friday .......... Y'all have a good one
The picture of the day .............. comes from Ontario in 1970 ........... one of the quickest AA/A's in the country (and also one of the most difficult to drive) was Mike Sullivan's blown 392" Hemi powered '38 Fiat Topolino .............. that's a lot of engine for a "little mouse" ........... short wheelbase cars are naturally hard to handle, but just look at the torque being exhibited on this launch

GOOD MORNING!! I was going bowling after work last night but decided to stay home. That t-storm was a bad one!! Lost power for a few minutes. Looks like I will have to use a alternate route to work today. Posts: 296 | From: DearbornHeights,MI | Registered: Dec 2003

Pickup the SS up from the body shop yesterday. The repair is absolutely undetectable. Well worth the 5 1/2 month wait. The bonus was free heated indoor winter storage.
Quick thrash on th Zed tonite ...installing the now boxed front sway bar mounts and fresh brake pads.
Weatherman is calling for showers today and tomorrow.
Y'all have a great day, eh!

Good morning all! Have a great weekend. Looks like I will be busy helping obSSd replace/rebuild a staircase in their new house this weekend.
I dont think the weather guys have a clue. On my way driving in to work this am, I am listening to the guy on the radio telling me it will be a little cloudy in the am, but no chance of rain at all............... as I have my headlights and wipers on due to the rain I am getting!!!
Wish I could get paid and still keep my job even if I was wrong all of the time!!

Weird thing about being an auto technician compared to a doctor. A doctor gets a comeback and he charges for the visit, an auto technician gets a comeback, he fixes the car for free or at least the labor.

Was a sunny morning... just got pelted with a fast moving thunderstorm here. High winds, heavy down pour, tons of lightning... gone now and the sun's trying to re-appear.

More rain on the way. Got caught in torrential downpours this afternoon heading back in from deliveries. I get home and see all the destruction brought on by the storms and now we have more coming our way via Wisconsin and going to continue through next week.
