Unreal that someone actually paid that for that Chevelle. If the car is that original, you would have thought the owner would have replaced the tires with the same kind of white letter tires it came with instead of some off brand tires.

My favorite car! Had a 69 SS Chevelle and a few years ago I looked at a nice one, but I didn't want to spend the 30,000 on it. Looks like I will just have to keep the Hawk...

It's stricly an investment at that price....and a questionable one at that because I am not so sure you could resell it at that price. You wouldn't dare drive it so its way too much money to spend on something you can only look at.....IMHO.

Investment, yes. But in order for this to be, you have to buy a limited production car and store it in a warehouse for 34 years. I don't have the money for this, and I wouldn't want to even if I did.

How many LS6 Chevelles can you find like this in the world?

This, SS 454 LS6, is a very rare car. If found with little millage an SS 396 might bring in 1/6th of the price. If I were rich, yes I would pay that much for it.

Whoever bought that car won't miss the money. And as for just looking at it....big deal, the car is a piece of art. You can't drive a Picasso but people pay millions for them. Posts: 26 | From: Atlanta | Registered: Aug 2003
