If you are planning on going to Bowling Green and you are not accustomed to backing your car into parking spaces, may I suggest that you start practicing now.
Having driven a Jeep Cherokee for several years, I was not used to backing into parking spaces......I had always just dived helter-skelter head-on into them, as I'm sure the rest of the Great Unwashed has always done.
However, to my chagrin, I found that in BG, people back their fbodies EVERYWHERE.....not only into parking spaces, but also into gas stations, ATMs, convenience stores, car washes, and drive-thru fast food establishments.....
Just letting you know..... Posts: 3236 | From: Dallas, Texas | Registered: Nov 2002

I always back in no matter what I'm driving. I find it easier, and it makes for a quick get away!

In other words, give that thing a little reverse action.
Anyone familiar with Adam Sandlers last CD should know a thing or two about reverse action.

Backing into any parking spot in any vehicle is definitely a practice I've picked up since acquiring my F-bod. As Hawkeye states, not only is it easier, but I find it safer, since I can see the oncoming traffic a lot better (especially coming from both sides without swivelling my head around!) when backing out of a spot.

Haha!! No....cuz he's an A4!
......somebody wanna teach me how to do that 180 slide that the SSR does in the car-carrier commercial?? .....there oughta be plenty of room in the parking lot at BG.....!!

Try putting a 2500 HD 4X4 into a parking spot . You find out that backing in or 3 spaces is about the only option .

... Just turn the wheel and go! Always back in spaces too. Like to be able to just take off and you can see the traffic better facing out from your space.

It cracks me up to watch people try to parallel park. It's a lost art. Hardly anyone needs to do it anymore.

Tell me about it! I drive one everyday and it just plain won't fit in some parking lots around here. A while back they started making parking spaces smaller to fit more into a lot, then BOOM! everyone is driving an SUV or a truck. Now, the spaces are all too small for what so many people are driving.

I dont think the Dulies can have it but the Quadra steer is a godsend on the trucks. Wife had one home for me to try and it was about a 3 foot turning difference with it on.
