Morning all. Well the garage is coming along nicely. A little more carpentry, some cleaning today and then the main part of the garage should be done by tommorow. Then I start on the shop area. I just keep telling myself that I will enjoy it when it is done...

Good morning! Had to take yesterday off due to no power and Hines was sick from a real beef bone I bought her. Nothing like cleaning brand new carpet without power. I went out and bought a generator that will run my whole house and then some. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Rain, thunderstorms and tornados all over the place near here this past holiday weekend. Yesterday a small tornado (an F0 on a scale of F0 to F5) touched down about 1/2 mile from our house. It tore the shingles off a few houses and damaged a deck & some out buildings. It was a little too close for comfort.

My morning started out interesting. Steve took the '98 to work today to change the oil, leaving me the van. I went out to the van to drive it to work and realized I didn't have anything on my key ring to unlock the doors or start it. OBSSD didn't give me my keys back after he borrowed the van last weekend. The only other insured options are my '67 or the '72. Neither of which I would leave in the parking garage across the street from the County Jail.
I was a little late to work because I didn't know that I had nothing to drive, and had to top off the air in my bike tires, to ride it to the train station, to get to work.
Hey, Cy.....I want my van keys back! I need something to drive to work if it rains. Lucky for you it was sunny today, so I was able to ride my bike to work. Can you drop by our house and leave the keys in the super secret hiding place? Thanks!
If it rains on me on the way home, you're in for it, mister! Posts: 7198 | From: Near Portland, Oregon, USA | Registered: Feb 2000

Hello all. Late check in for me. Sounds like a heck of a morning Teri. I hate that!
We're headed out of town for a couple days, a nice mini vacation up the coast. Back just in time for a long weekend.

D'OH...with Steve driving the van home the other night, I didn't even think about what keys he used. Your keys are probably still sitting next to the picnic basket. I'll call Aimee and make sure.
