When you installed your CB glass mount antenna on
your rear window,did you install it above the
defroster grids? I just purchased one from
Radio shack and the directions say do not install
on the metal film-type sunscreen,which looks like its on the top of the window.Where did you
install yours on the rear window? [Smile] [Smile]

Measuring from the outside of the rear glass.

It is the middle of the window, 8" from the
top of the glass. Best spot I could find. I
unscrew the mast, except for highway trips
when I think I'll use the CB. I was not that
worried about the rear defog, I've never used
it!

BTW - "Hawkeye" is my old CB Handle. Keep the
shinny side up, and the greasy side down.
