As all of you may know I have been away because of basement problems that hopefully now have been solved. Still though things have to be put back back and cleaned up.

Now what I want to do here is take a moment to offer my apologies to anyone I may have offended the last couple of days in a previous thread. I have let my anger over the last few weeks control my feelings over certain things. Normally I usually keep my mouth shut when political views are brought up because hard feelings, frustration, and hostilities can arrise.

Now I take full responsibility for anything I have said concerning the political atmosphere in this election year that may have riled members up and created bad feelings. As I have stated many times I am Middle of the Road and vote for who I feel will do the better job in helping lead this great nation of ours. My political beliefs are just that, mine alone and I do not want to try and change peoples feelings towards anyone or anything. Normally I avoid any talk of this nature and wait until election day to sum up how I feel. I have voted in every election since I became eligible to vote in 1980. I have voted Republican, Democratic, and also Independently which should show that I don't lean in any direction. I come from a Blue Collar family and am myself a Blue Collar Worker but I also have Management Experience and know both sides as to how things work. So as you see I know both sides of the fence and take both views into deep consideration.

Now that I have gotten that off of my chest I sincerely hope any and all that I may have upset that you will accept my sincerest apologies and hope you can forgive myself for overspeaking on very touchy issues. I take full responsibility as I stated above and if the Moderators feel I was out of line and wish to ban myself then I fully understand.

Thank you for reading and hopefully understanding my views. Have a great Memorial Day.

Ken,
Hope you got your basement straightened out, must have been a pain in the rear.

One of the reasons I try not to post on political and religious views is I rather talk in person about these subjects. It may be due to my lack of writting skills, or the fact that I feel I can better articulate my positions. It is too easy to read into what one posts, we are all creatures of our past, so we tend to read what we want to hear.

Have a great holiday, and remember that is what this holiday is about. Remembering those that went before us and unfortunately those that will go in the future...For Freedom!

Even for them liberal, commie, pinko, ahhh come on I was just kidding, we have to keep our humor. Have a great one all.

Never be apologetic for the things that you truly believe in. I, too, have both managerial and blue-collar experience, and from what I've learned, if you stop and think about it, it all rolls downhill, so it just depends on what level you are on that hill as to how much you get hit with. It all smells the same. [Smile]

And voting for the person you think is the best choice, for whatever reason, is what it's all about.

No apology required from where I stand. I enjoyed the differing views, and I think we all got something out of it.

I really can't say it any better than el ess1 did.
You have as a much right to your opinion and your vote as I do to mine. Didn't upset me at all...rather, I enjoy reading your opinion. Reading opinions on both sides goes to the heart of our society, it is the practice of freedom of speech!!! [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Glad you got your basement squared away. [Smile]
