A friend of mine is looking for a decent car cover for her 01 Z28 which recently lost its garage.

Any thoughts?

I do too and feel the same way about mine, but I don't know what comparable out on the market? I wonder who makes the SLP covers? The person I'm asking for is a single mother with out a lot of extra $$$

How much is she looking to spend?

They go from cheapie cotton ones from Target or WalMart to several hundred dollars for all-weather protection

I don't think the SLP car cover is an outdoor cover. I would buy a Noah but if price is an issue try something that is lined with something. I'm sure califorina car cover has something.

I just checked SLP's website and their covers are $169. They are made for the outside, as SLP states this on their website....

"Protect your Camaro or Firebird from dust, dirt, and other contaminants. SLP offers this high quality, breathable water-resistant car covers. These silver fabric covers will reflect sunlight to help keep your car cool and protect it from harmful UV rays. Each cover comes with a locking cable to prevent loss and a convenient tote bag for easy storage. "

NOAH.

don't waste your money on anything else. I bought mine from www.calcarcover.com. It was spendy, but certainly cheap insurance for those of us that have to park outside.

I always show people this pic. My NOAH cover has been through this 3 times, not to mention all the tree sap and pollen our forest can throw at it. It needs to be cleaned right now, but otherwise is as new as the day it came out of the box. And it has never left a mark or a scratch on the car.

Over the years I have tried several different covers. I like the Noah best of any that I have used. I got it from California Car Covers.
