Saturday went to Napierville for Zeke's raceday,it was a bit cool but we had fun anyway.

Traction was horrible but we did our best,,I ended up in the finals against Zeke and was lucky enough to win it all.

Sunday was at Sanair for the Triple Crown[part 1],got there saturday night and had a nice quiet restful evening beside the campfire with our friends and competitors and a few brews.

Had gotten the car ready[washed and wheels changed]saturday so had nothing to do but walk around and drink coffee and chat,,nice morning.

Qualifications started at 9h30 and went well,got in 2 runs early and had .083 and .080 RT,,,gave the car a rest and came back 3/4 hour later when traction had improved .

My next 3 RT were .004[right lane].005[left lane].004[right lane] I was pumped and ready,this was my program to win.Got one last time trial before the session ended and my clutch didn't !!!!!!

My clutch gave up just before eliminations,I had to try to go without a burnout and see if I could go a few rounds.

First round lost running .10[12.65 on a 12.55] over my dial[slippage],bought back and ran .20 over the dial [12.75 on a 12.65] and in the loosers race ran 12.95 0n a 12.75.The clutch was slipping more every run ,too bad,

Drove it home[140 miles] being VERY gentle with it,made it home allright.New clutch this week and probably A4 this winter!!!!!

Congratulations on the win ......... that's outstanding !!!!

Lets see .......... I do, however, remember a certain old coyote whispering in your ear last year about dumping that "Clutchy" setup and going with a stout racing auto [Roll Eyes]
