I got the call while in Carlisle, ...it showed up Monday, ...here's my "new" ragtop . Looks real rough, but It's an LOS car that (literally) spent it's life in the desert outside Las Vegas. It's originally Granada Gold, white top, ...POWERFUL!!! (of course I'm kidding) 250 6 Cylinder , PS, PB, with factory AIR! eventually I'll restore it, but for now it will take up garage spacePosts: 1046 | From: Pine Bush, NY USA | Registered: Aug 2001

Nice clean body on that Camaro. I would keep it a 250ci 6 cylinder. Congrats and enjoy the restoration. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

RaqSS, Glad to see you are finally getting it home. Make sure you take lots of pics. Sounds like a neat car. BTW, quite bragging, you have way more (20) horsepower than Teri's 67!!

. eehhmmm, ...meet me at the track, ...that ol' 6 banger will give you a run for your money (even if you have your runnin' shoes on ) ...just won't turn the air on Posts: 1046 | From: Pine Bush, NY USA | Registered: Aug 2001

Nice! Wish I had the garage space for a project car. (Hell, I wish my mother-in-law would get her new place so that she'll take all her stuff out of our garage and I can finally bring my SS over.)Posts: 1907 | From: I hope I'm not repeating myself. Hey, I'm jealous....you have the "big" 6. Mine is only the 230.
I have 87 h.p. at the wheels and the dyno sheets to prove it.
You made a nice buy! If you locate a spark plug wire loom for the 6 cyl, buy two. I haven't been able to locate one in the 10 years I've owned mine.
The following pic is when my car had a play date with another friend's Gold '67 SS. It stayed over at our place for a few weeks while Steve was fixing a few things on it. Posts: 7198 | From: Near Portland, Oregon, USA | Registered: Feb 2000

My brother filled the trunk with parts (some dontated from a Nova, ...including an AIR COOLED powerglide). I will keep my eyes peeled for the wire loom On that note, ...if anyone comes across a 6 cylinder with AIR,...I believe I'm missing one of the compressor brackets , ...still haven't had a chance to really look the car over, ...been a busy week.
