Pulled the SS out of the garage today and found a puddle of trans fluid under it. Now my car is a M6 and I have not heard or seen any problems with leaks before. Looks like it coming out of the tail shaft... it also made a nice mess under the car(splatter everywhere). Just currious if anyone else has run into this... usually its the diff that leaks not the trans...

i bet its the seal on the end of the tailhousing where the splined shaft comes out (obviously, lol, what else could it be) my seal is damaged and leaks some. I gotta replace that before I put it back into my next IROC (i swapped the six speed into my 3rd gen.)

Make sure and check the tail shaft bushing and trans. yoke. They are often responsible for the seals going bad. Also check your trans. mount, the fluid can cause them to deteriorate.
