i have the blue one. just have not had the time to install it yet. great place for it is in the middle air vent.

I put mine on top of the steering column bezel with a strip of velco on the steering colmn and the shift light tube. Works great.
It is more or less in your line of sight but down low enough to not be bothersome. This also gives very easy access (with no disassmbly required) to it for changing the RPM at which it comes on.
