I was out the other day just cruising,
you know us resposible fbody guys, and
this cobra comes up sounding bad as hell.
So we ride for a little while. I don't
really have that screw mustang mentality
especially Cobras, sure mustangs are girls
cars but at least it isn't the hidius STI or
EVO. SO anyway we're riding he says he just
got back from a Ford show and I ask what he's
done. He says exhaust and a blower running 8lbs
on a 97, I say so we pretty close(wanting to
say so you'll almost catch me) and he says
why do you have a blower too. I say no I don't
need one, this is an LS1. His face got all
confused like he wasn't sure. He didn't know
what to say after that.

Just thought it was funny, maybe you had to
be there.

When I dynoed a few months ago it was me and my buddys SS and 3-4 Mustangs. All of the blue ovals had either nitrous or a blower. My friend with a 96 SVT Cobra was telling me how his car was an SVT car! It was basically a race car for the street... he went one and I finally said oh, that's why it makes 258hp!! [Big Grin] (I had just dynoed 329 and my buddy 339. (no cats)

Mustang boy said he could make more on nitrous, I said, buy a Chevy, you wont need nitrous. [Wink]

I drove Mark's 04 SVT Cobra. By the seat of the
pants feel, it pulled like an LS1. Maybe not
as tourqy from the start but after a few revs
it was a nice smooth pull.
