Last I heard there was 11,191. Did I miss something? I haven't been around for a while, maybe I did. [Confused]

I dont know where he got his numbers from, but JeffY reported 11,191 on the last day of production.

http://www.chirpthird.com/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi/ubb/get_topic/f/3/t/011081.html

Scott Settlemire released a breakdown he did from the GM system. He also reported 11,191.

I would question the validity of his numbers.

Here is where we are at with the SLP numbers....

ACS not ASC. Kinda funny, because ASC is where Yachnin ended up.

The that posted those numbers insists that he got them from SLP and that they are more up to date.

Its funny that the "official" SLP numbers are not credited to anyone at SLP! And the comment about European numbers-BS!!!!!!!!!!The only official numbers were what I kept record of and what was verified by the Ste. Therses manager and we both agreed 11, 191.Period. That's how many SLP got paid for. We used to reconcile the numbers every week, not just athe end of the year.

Good question. Wish he would tell us.

JeffY made it pretty clear what his thoughts are. He was ultimately responsible for production at SLP. I know they had to keep very close tabs on incoming orders because they ramped up production to meet the demand. Jeff had to make sure SLP had enough parts in stock to keep the line moving... which did prove to be a challenge to them.

All right Jeff, Chris, Dave, Scott, etc, etc. Eric said he got them from an SLP employee, however he still hasn't (or won't) say who it is as of yet. You would think everyone on this site would be all over this info, whether it be positive, neutral or negative. Hmmmm.

Those are the records that the marketing people kept - WHICH WERE NEVER ACCURATE! I had to conatantly correct them-they are not correct simply because of bookkeeping errors. The numbers included orders that were cancelled and never built. Notice the several blocks that contain the statement "unknown" and that have a number associated with them? Those were phantom cars that didn't exist but are included in those fake/incorrect totals. And for anyone new that doesn't know me, I was the chief guru of SLP that knew what was going on at the plant and elsewhere. I'll let alter ego vouch for me.

I am now at ASC, Inc. ( American Spedcialty Cars, formerly American Sunroof Corp.)and have nothing to do with SLP; SLP Engineering used to have the SS hoods made at its Canadian company, SLP Canada. The Canadian company went belly up and SLPE is no longer doing business anywhere. The SS hoods are now made Hamburger's new company, ACS ( Advanced Composite Specialties) with the new Canadian company. ASC and ACS are not related, other than by having the same initials in a different order.

Here's the link for ACS: http://www.performancehoods.com/about.html
