Cars are for driving. Not for storing. But due to injuries from a car wreck at work, I havent been able to drive my SS without a lot of pain for a year. It has sat in my garage with Stabil in the tank and a trickle charger on it for about 363 days of the past year (I actually drove it twice) and I am not sure when I will be able to drive it again. So I am selling it to someone who will put it to good use. I am currently working on prepping an Ebay ad, but if any of you know a true enthusiast who would take care of it, I would appreciate you passing on the info. The car is LE #304, SS#1420 it has just over 3K miles and it is unmodified in any way. I will take $19K from a SSOA referral, my starting bid on ebay will be $19,500. Feel free to email me with any questions rmh5602@yahoo.com Thanks!

Sorry to hear of your health troubles and havong to do it but I can understand. You are so right these cars are made to be drove. Its nice to shine them up for a show but to much money to sit the rest of the time and the real pleasure is driving one not looking at it all the time. This does not mean for you not to hangout with us here now.

I am not gonna gyp the new owner out of the stuff that is supposed to be with the car, like the portfolio and trophy mat. But I do have a new set of 35th mats and a new 35th deck mat I will be selling.
Thanks all for the replies, this was a VERY difficult decision.

I too am sorry about your injuries, and I think you are doing the right thing. It is not good for these cars to just sit around all of the time. I think you are doing the right thing by making sure you keep all of the cars documentation with the car (portfolio,etc...). I am sure the new owner would be very happy about this too.

let me know how much for the mats and rear deck mat, and send any photos you may have of them to travisnd@aol.com, I may know a few people who are interested in them. Is the rear deck mat the SLP one? Thanks again

If I didn't have my SS, I'd be all over that. I have thought about selling mine for a 6spd several times, but I'd lose way too much in selling it I believe. Sorry you have to let it go. Hopefully you'll recover from your injuries and be able to enjoy another sports car soon.
