Originally Daytona Yellow with a black vinyl top. This is a real Z, single 4 barrel 302. It was restored in the late 80's and painted red/black. Since the paint wasnt the original color, my dad decided just to keep it how he liked it. I put in a ZZ4 crate motor and a host of other parts, so its not a matching number car anyways. It wouldnt take much to get it there though.

Running a little rich, aren't we.
That cutouts were used when we got them.

Everything outside the chrome trim ring is supposed to be body color...kinda' looks like it's got a black eye....
Other than that it looks like they did a good job
The black eye thing is your opinion. I personally think it looks better black.

And the Grille itself should be Silver not black. Black Grilles were only on the SS's.
Actually I think the silver grill is for the RS/SS or RS/Z28's. The trim around the grill should be body color.

yeah, looks to be a bit too much soot on the cutout. He should probably get down there and clean it off, or else that valve might get stuck.
Dude, the car looks FANTASTIC!!! Question: are the stripes painted on, or vinyl?
