Yep it was a good day for a car show, It was a little warm but the sun was bright and the cars were shining There were a few 69 Camaros there, I was in their class. I thought there was no way I could beat them, both were in good shape and looked nice. When it was time for awards I heard that 2nd place in the camaro class was a 97 RS camaro I then thought heck maybe I have a chance.. and you guessed it I got first place in the Camaro class and I also got the Sheriffs pick award as wellI was wayyyyyyy surprised. I went and talked to the judges about how I made out like I did. They wouldnt tell me any details just there were a few parts on the other cars that went unnoticed and could have been cleaner. I just said ok thats all I needed to hear.. Here are a few pics of the trophies and one of the car at the show..
Crazy thing was I wasnt even going to go becaunse of the threat of rain.. Heck I didint even start cleaning up the car till after 9pm the night before :eek! Anyhoo I am glad I went, I met a lot of nice people and had a great time Posts: 176 | Registered: Sep 2001

Oh I've never doubted it for a second. Your car always looks good. BTW, she sounded real nice pulling out of Dave's yesterday.

Well the truth is your right, but this week I took the car for 150 mile drive on Wednesday. The weather was right and I needed my SS Fix. Needless to say the car was dirty and had some white road paint on the pass side that took 2 hours to clay off
