Good Morning!

Wheel alignment for the Zed today, and then off on a road trip to Minnesota for an extended weekend culminating with Monday at the Donnybrook Driving School. If the big brown truck stays on schedule I'll have my Sparco Evo seat in for the school. [Cool]

Weather is looking perfect.

Y'all have a great day and weekend. C U Wednesday. [Smile]

Wow, the BIR track! Went there the summer of 78 when I was living in Brainerd. Gotta love Paul and Babe the blue ox. Is the cool looking water tower in town still there? [Cool]

And Good Morning! Woohoo its FRIDAY!!! [Big Grin]

Hi folks!

It was 98 yesterday, and supposed to be 102 today, and about 100 or so on Saturday. Ugh. Way too hot for me. Hard to work in these kind of temps.

Have a great weekend. We are off to see the ALMS races this weekend

Oh yeah, and going to see the "Bourne Supremacy" tonight. I hear its better than the first one (which I loved). I cant wait! [Smile]

Looks like the A/C will be working overtime this weekend. The temp was perfect when I got up this morning (low to mid 70's). But like Steve said, it's supposed break 100.

Record 3-digit temps predicted for us over the next couple of days. It's going to be a scorcher at the ALMS race this weekend at Portland International Raceway. Stay cool, everyone!

I think I recall seeing a water tower at the track. We were there a couple of years ago for an NHRA National Event. My ears have never been the same. Are Paul and Babe in Brainerd as well? I've seen them at the lake in downtown Bemidji.

The water tower I was thinking of in in town. It looks somewhat like a castle tower. Yeah there was something like Paul Bunyan Land outside of town. Of course we are talking a few years ago, LOL!

Yup, there's a castle tower, not sure if it's for water as there is a big conventional tower not far from it, right next to the Brainerd Chamber of Commerce/Visitor Center building along with an unimpressive, size wise, statue of Paul and Babe. We didn't look for, or see, Paul Bunyanland.
