John.....your car is looking great! Black SS's are real classy (mine is black too) when they are clean. But they don't stay clean for long do they? After quite a few black cars, I am not going to have another black one myself for that reason. The next one will be red or silver.

Looks great John but whoa......hold on.....that stinger hood treatment is new isn't it? When did that happen?
Car covers used religiously make for happy black car owners...unless of course you drive or get caught in the rain.... Posts: 3403 | From: Woodcliff Lake, NJ, USA | Registered: Dec 2000

The stinger treatment's not new (maybe it just looks new with its million coats of Zaino ). The hood was painted at the same time as the hockey stick stripes in 2002.

Ok, guess it's just another example of old coot memory issues...

Looks great John I see you have the "Signature" series SFC's also. That tiny strip of red sets the stripes off even more.

I had the SFC's put on when I was getting my roof replaced. Don Goetz made a special effort to make the parts, and get them painted and shipped, so I could get them installed while the car was in the shop having the work done. Don's efforts were really appreciated. Posts: 2359 | From: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada | Registered: Jul 2001
