Good morning, all,

A couple of happenings this weekend:

Carolina Camaro Association/World Wide Camaro Association/Classic Chevy
International is holding their Southeast Nationals this weekend in
Mooresville, North Carolina -- more info. on www.worldwidecamaro.com. The
Camaro Legends Tour will make an appearance -- and I will be there Saturday
and Sunday.....

Additionally:

Radio personality Bob Long will be doing a segment about Camaro on his
radio show "Autoworld" this Sunday at 6:00pm Eastern.......and I will visit
with him briefly from the Worldwide Camaro/Classic Chevy
International/Carolina Camaro Association show.

A list of radio stations carrying this show is attached...and for those of
you who do not have a local station, you can listen via the internet at:
http://www.cableradionetwork.com/crn6_studio.htm

I'm attaching some more info. about Bob Long......

(and thank you, Terry Kohl, for setting up the radio interview!)

And, no matter where you are this weekend....or where you are
going.....please....I beg you, wear your seat belts!

About AutoWorld Host, Bob Long

Radio and automobiles have been lifelong passions for the host of
America's Automobile Enthusiast Show, AutoWorld. Bob Long started his
radio career at age 17. His love of sports got him interested in a
broadcasting career at an elementary school age, but during his college
years Bob expanded his interests into news, autojournalism and music
radio. Born in Boston, Long is a veteran of 25+ years in the profession
of radio broadcasting.

In the late 1980's Bob got an opportunity to work in national sports
talk radio on the Sports Final and American Forum radio networks. Long
was a trivia host on the largest sports radio network of its time.
Broadcast nightly on over 135 stations, including such powerhouse
outlets as WEEI-Boston, WQAM-Miami, KNBR-San Francisco, WKNR-Cleveland,
CKLW-Windsor (Ont.), WOAI-San
Antonio, and XTRA-San Diego to name a few.

In 1992 Long, along with four other broadcasters, formed the Talk
America Radio Networks. From its humble beginnings to its expansion to
over 500 stations, two talk networks, Spanish music network, and news
service, Long served as Vice President of Affiliate Relations, as well
as a producer and host for sports, current affairs, and of course,
AutoWorld.

From 1996-1998 Long was co-host of the national sports program
"Grandestand", with veteran broadcasters Carl and George Grande (radio
voice of the Cincinnati Reds).

Long is the producer and co-host of another radio program, Car Crazy,
News Desk Anchor and host of Motor Trend Radio and the National
Spokesperson for Sears Diehard Security Battery.

In August 2002, Long moved to the Langer Broadcasting Network boosting
his listening audience by 26 million households via the Cable Radio
Networks.

"Radio on the Road, " a book by William Hutchings, listed AutoWorld and
in particular, host, Bob Long as a must hear. This book lists more than
15,000 stations in the U.S. and Canada with their call letters,
frequency, and broadcast format. "If your traveling on a Sunday,"
Hutchings writes, "or at home where you can hear one of his broadcasts,
tune Bob in-he's a listening pleasure and a real pro."

Long's lifelong passion for cars goes back to his childhood, when he
started reading and collecting auto magazines and memorabilia. During
college and throughout his radio career Long has worked as a freelance
auto journalist.

I'm also planning to attend the Camaro/Classic Chevy show in Mooresville, NC. For those of you able to make it, you'll meet a great bunch of people. There's plenty to do and see in the immediate and surrounding area for anyone with even a remote interest in automobiles.

I was planning on attending this show since where the show is held is a mile or so from my sisters house. She went camping so no free lodging. I have to start saving money from several weekend that I attended car shows that were out of town, puts a nice dent in the savings!
